Born in Mexico City in 1958. Studied Social Communication at the Autonomous Metropolitan University (UAM) and Master of Visual Arts at the Academy of San Carlos de la Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico. He is a professor and researcher at the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana Xochimilco and has published book chapters and articles on aesthetics, art and communication in specialized magazines and broadcast in Mexico and other countries. It is also a graphic designer and editor. His artwork has been exhibited in Mexico, Canada, United States, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Germany, Slovakia, Russia, Venezuela, Argentina, Bulgaria and Romania.

In 1996 the project is distinguished not exceed (co-authored with Mauricio Ortiz), deserves support for its implementation of the National Fund for Culture and Arts of the government of Mexico.

In 2005, his work Self Portrait 0805, is selected and exhibited at the Second National Biennial of Visual Arts University, organized by the Universidad Autonoma del Estado de Mexico.

In 2007, gets an honorable mention in the Third National Biennial of Visual Arts University, organized by the Autonomous University of Mexico State; selaccionado at the Seventh International Biennial of Contemporary Engraving "Iosif Iser", Romania, selected Latin American Competition Ex symbol of the Fondazione Casa America, Genoa, Italy.

In 2009 gets an honorable mention in the First Biennial of Contemporary Estampa Mexicana. And another mention in the International Small Engraving Salon 2009, Florean Museum, Baia Mare, Romania
